Troy Huntley has been working in the oilfield for 22 years including 12 years in Vegetation Management as the owner of Backwoods Resources Inc. He is born and raised in Edson, Alberta and he credits his small town values and participation in the community to the company’s success. His favourite part about working with Backwoods is the relationship building with co workers and the excitement of building a company from the ground up. He graduated from UofA in 2008 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and started the company in 2012.
